The Story of Insurance at Heart
My inner entrepreneurial mind came to live, when I – at the age of 54 😊 – was awarded two Insurance Innovation Prizes by industry colleagues, a Danish one from the Danish Risk Management Association, DARIM and an European from the Federation of European Risk Management Associations, FERMA – 22 November 2022 will always be a special day, as when winning the European prize was the start of considering a radical carrier change – from almost 20 years as Corporate Insurance and Pensions Expert, having 360.000 colleagues in my latest corporate role at ISS World Services to having 1 colleague, my co-founder and husband, Martin.
The external recognition of my untraditional mind (!) from the world of insurers, brokers, public entities and certainly also employees with lower back pains was beyond heart-warming, it was massive and i knew I had done at least something right 😊 This empowered me to be brave, be curious, to challenge myself to take my insurance and risk management skills to a next level.
